denim therapy

The mess as a backdrop for an outfit post is definitely not the best option... I think I was in the middle of cleaning up my wardrobe when this photobooth picture was taken. So yeah, welcome to my never ending battlefield!

Another favourite vintage item of mine is the rich deep brown reptilian leather purse. A little old but the quality is exceptional. The denim shirt (a must-have in any wardrobe) is from Calvin Klein Jeans and the pants are the same one found on all my other outfit posts. Do I own more pants other than this one? YES. Do I ever wear them? NO (but I'll try).

Hope you all had a great week! Mine was very exciting! The feeling of being a full time student again is quite uplifting, especially when I'm learning stuff I'm very fond of.

wool, lace and leather

This afternoon, I went to an informal event held by some friends of mine. The belt on the first photo makes the outfit a little bit too dressy, therefore I dismissed it but kept everything else.

wool skirt: vintage and thrifted

leather boots: not sure if they are vintage, but definitely thrifted

An outfit I wore last summer in June. Very casual, nothing fancy. I was heading to a friend's birthday party.

My bedroom is always cluttered with stuff, but lately, I managed to clean-up most of the clutter. One of my resolution this year is to get rid as much as possible of the clutters in my life. I'll keep you updated on this!

I'm wearing a vintage wolves t-shirt with a pair of very beat-up shorts which was originally my favourite pair of Levi's jeans that I had to cut off because of a huge hole right underneath the butt area. The bag is vintage too, from Lancel. Deep purple has to be my second best favourite color for clothing after black.

The last two weeks were all about celebrating with friends and families, playing board games, watching movies on dvd player, playing games on my new black Wii (my Christmas present from my darling), etc. I'm happy that the holidays went on so well! Now it's time to think about writing down goals and resolutions for year 2011.

first post of the year

I'm very thrilled that 2011 is finally here! I haven't mentioned it before, but starting this month, I'll be returning to school full-time. Personally, it's a big decision for me because I have to quit my full-time job of the moment and eventually find a part-time job with a schedule that will suit me better. So basically, 2011 will be financially challenging for me but I'm very happy about it because I'm pursuing my dream to do something I love instead of trying to love what I do.

For the last previous years, my job required me to wear an uniform, putting the ratio of time spent in my personal clothes in the very low zone. From now on, I'll be again able to fully express my individuality through my personal style. Expect to see more outfit post on this blog!

And I also want to thank everyone who read my blog and who have left nice and encouraging comments. Thank you!

Happy New Year to all! xoxo
